Some of the more commonly asked questions we get about car leasing include:

  • Are all your leases on brand new vehicles?

Yes! Unless otherwise stated, everything on our website is brand new. We do occasionally offer pre-reg deals, but again this is always stated ahead of the deal being signed off and this is a rare occurrence anyway.

  •  How old do I have to be to lease a vehicle?

With any kind of car finance, a credit line needs to be established. As per UK law, in order to take out any kind of finance, you need to be at least 18 years old. So this means you need to be at least 18. There are some rare cases where credit can be arranged while you’re 17 but these are not common at all and need to be arranged case by case.

  •  Will I be subject to a credit check to take out a lease?

Yes. Any lease contract we offer will be subject to a credit check. This is in order to accurately assess any risk factors for our funders and match you to the very best deals possible.

  •  If I have bad credit, can I still obtain a vehicle lease?

Yes, but it may be more difficult and/or take a bit longer than if you had positive credit. Having bad credit though does not automatically mean you can’t get a finance agreement.

  •  How many years do I need to have held my drivers license for?

There is no minimum requirement for how long you’ve had your license. The only legal requirements we have are that you are at least 18 years of age and have a full UK driver license.
